Monte Bruce Adams, age 70, died May 4th, 2007. He was born in National City, California on July 28, 1936. His father was in the Navy when Bruce was a child; the family lived in San Diego, France, Virginia, Pensacola, Florida and Washington DC. They moved back to San Diego County in 1946 where they settled in La Mesa. Bruce graduated from Helix High School in 1954 and from San Diego State University in 1958. He married his first wife in 1961 and they had one daughter in 1962. Bruce was a Space Systems Engineer at General Dynamics in San Diego for 33 years. He retired in 1991 at the age of 55 and enjoyed 15 years of retired life. He loved Astronomy, his backyard Observatory and his red Porsche Boxter! Bruce is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, 2 grandchildren, 1 sister, 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
