Mr. Wayron Russell Dickerson Jr. - BULLOCH COUNTY - Mr. Wayron Russell Dickerson Jr., age 69, died Tuesday. Born and raised in Bulloch County, Wayron graduated from Southeast Bulloch High School in 1963. In 1998 he retired from the Local 709 Ironworkers Union after 33 years of service. Surviving are his wife Lawanda Burnsed Dickerson; a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Charlie Salzman of Brooklet Georgia; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Cynthia Dickerson of Acworth; and a son, Wayron Russell Dickerson III of Bulloch County; six grandchildren, Sunny Salzman, Payton Salzman, Colton Dickerson, Kayleigh Dickerson, Wayron Russell Dickerson IV, and Kaleb Dickerson; his mother, Lois McCoy Dickerson of Bulloch County and a sister Anglean Carpender of Bulloch County. The visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at Joiner- Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro. Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Joiner- Anderson Funeral Home. Interment will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens. Honorary Pallbearers will be the member of the Local 709 Ironworkers Union of Pooler, Georgia.
