VERA G. PORTER, age 84, of Lipscomb, AL, passed away Monday, September 3, 2012. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Donald Porter; her son, Roger Glass; her grandchildren, Rodney Glass and Cathy (Randall) Aaron; her great granddaughters, Randa, Nicole, Katie and Chelsea; her great great grandchildren, Jackson and Sophie; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with burial in Highland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
