Final rites were held Tuesday morning in Yenzer Brothers Memorial Chapel for Lula B. Banning, 84, who died Saturday in Oklahoma City.

Rev. Berwyn Dodson officiated and burial was the Crescent cemetery under the direction of Yenzer Brothers Mortuary.

The daughter of Washington and Rebecca Brodie, she was born in Oklahoma. She lived in the Crescent community until 1938 when she moved to Bethany. She was a member of the First Christian church of Crescent.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Delta Johnson of Oklahoma City; two sons, Hershel Banning of Oklahoma City and Aubrey Banning of Tonkawa; two grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
