Crescent, Feb 28 - Services for Mrs Adah Susan McNeer, 88, widow of a pioneer Crescent merchant, will be Monday at 2:30 pm in the First Methodist church.
Mrs McNeer died Friday in her home at Crescent after a long illness. She had been bedfast five years. She was the widow of the late T A McNeer, whom she married in West Virginia. They later moved to Missouri before coming to Crescent in 1909.
She and McNeer operated a mercantile store here until retiring in 1933. She was a member of the Methodist church and a past matron of Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors are son, Horace A, Crescent; Theo E, Pauls Valley; two daughters, Mrs Lucille Graff, Crescent, and Mrs Grace M Daughtrey, Springfield, Mo, six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and a sister.
