Howard H. Erb, 88, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Moravia, died Sunday night in Good Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix.
Born in Montville, he had lived in the Moravia area before moving to Arizona in 1961. He worked with his father, Jacob Erb, in a wool carding factory in Montville. He was a cabinetmaker and had a shop in Montville. At one time he was director of the woodworking shops in Auburn Prison. Before moving to Arizona, he was a real estate broker in
Locke.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frank Kenyon of Phoenix, Ariz., a grandson and two greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be held p.m. Thursday at the Wade Funeral Home, Moravia. Rev. Duanne Bell, pastor of Milan Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Indian Mound Cemetery, Moravia. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
