Joseph S. Finnerty, 42, of Tobyhanna, formerly of Goshen, N.Y., died Saturday in Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of Nancy J. (Reid) Finnerty.
He was manager of the bakery at Price Chopper, Kingston, Luzerne County, for 2-1/2 years.
Born in Scranton, he was a son of Harry J. and Margaret E. (Judge) Finnerty of Cresco.
He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Tobyhanna.
Survivors: Wife and parents; sons, Kevin and Christopher, both at home; sisters, Margaret Kinney of Columbia, S.C., Maureen A. Courtright of Pocono Summit and Patricia Morris of Hershey, and a brother, John P. of Mount Pocono.
