Death of C. G. Welton
Christopher G. Welton, an old resident of Aitkin county, who made his home at Pine Knoll, died at the local hospital yesterday morning. He was here on election day to vote and during the afternoon, he started to drive home and when near the home of Chris Leikau, he fell from his buggy and was found lying under the same by Geo. Bunt, who took him to the home of one of his sons. He remained there two or three days and then went to his own home. Last Monday he was brought to the hospital here, but was not in condition to be operated on and he died as above mentioned. Mr. Welton was 82 years of age and is survived by his widow, five sons and one daughter. The funeral will probably be held next Monday.
