Miss Mamie E. Bennett and Louis B. Gooch married
Miss Mamie E. Bennett, a very popular and charming young lady of the Excello community became the bride of Louis B. Gooch, a well known man of Kirksville, Saturday evening, April 20, at 9:45 p.m.
Mrs. Gooch is the daughter of Mrs Otto Bennett of near Excello. the cermony was conducted by the Rev. Alfred Munyon, pastor of the First Christian Church. The ring ceremony was used.
the witnesses, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence A. Means. sister and brother-in-law of the bride; Mrs. Otto Bennett, mother, and Ralph Bennett, brother of the bride. accompanied them. the bride wore a beautiful tan swagger suit with accessories to match.
Mrs. Gooch has been connected with the Still-Hildreth Sanatorium for the past two years and Mr. Gooch has had emplomemt in Kirksville.
The young couple left immediately for Mt. Clemens, Michigan, where they will be at home at 206 Robertson street, Mt.Clemens, after May 1.
Mr. and Mrs. Gooch have the very best wishes of their friends for many years of happiness.

at Looch Haven Nursing Home in Macon.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 2 p.m. at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Macon.
Mrs. Gooch was born September 4, 1900 in Competine, Iowa, the daughter of Samuel Otto and Mary Ellen Hayes Bennett. She Married Lewis B. Gooch on April 22, 1932 at Kirksville, Missouri.
She is survived by three nieces. Willie Owings of Cairo, Shirley Davis of Macon, and Bonnie Winkie of Bevier, six nephews, Roger Bennett of Huntsville, Jerry Bennett of Bevier, and Donnie, Ronnie, Frederick and Bob, one sister-in-law, one brother -in-law Otis James of Waterloo Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters, Mabel E. Towles, Myrtle E. James and Velma Means; and one brother, Ralph Bennett.
