Herbert L. Zitner, 81, of Jupiter, FL, died Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Anna Maria of Aurora.
He was born November 6, 1928, to Alex and Mary (Nagy) Zitner. Herbert was a veteran of the Marine Corps during the World War II and retired from GE as a Jet Engine Inspector. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Jupiter, FL.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Anna Maria of Aurora especially Linda, Marla, Joyce and Dr. Randall Schwartz and the staff of Robinson Memorial Hospital-Hospice.
He is survived by sister, Mariann (Alan) Tarbell of North Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Andrew and Martin (Alice) Zitner; and sisters, Elizabeth (Clarence) Randolf, Margaret (Joseph) Nanassy, Celia (George) Sinchak and Helen (Frank) Owen.
Memorial services will be held 10:00AM Saturday, April 10, 2010 at St. Patrick Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland.
