Massillon Independent April 7, 1975

Thomas W. Zorger, 55, who resided with a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Laurie) Maney of 4829 15th st SW, Canton (Perry Township), died Tuesday morning in the Cleveland Veterans Administration Hospital, where he was a patient for a month. He served with the Army during World War II.

Mr. Zorger was born in Cleveland but resided in the Canton and Massillon areas for most of his life. He was a meat cutter and had been employed for the past two years at the A&D Foodarama Meyers Lake store.

In addition to Mrs. Maney, Mr. Zorger is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Leo (Amy) Cole of Canton; two sons, James and Norman Zorger, both of Navarre; and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Gordon-Shaidnagle-Hollinger Funeral Home with the Rev. C. Herschel Gammill of Canton Temple Church of God officiating. Interment will be made in the Massillon Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
