Edward F. Berry
Edward F. Berry, 77, Lake Ozark, died at his home on Thursday, Sept. 13. He was born in Callaway County on July 4, 1902, the son of Edward G. and Lucy Gibson Berry. He married the former Alberta Atkinson on November 25, 1928. She survives him at the home.
Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Maurine) Hanna, Doniphan; two sons, Raymond F. Berry, Lake Ozark, John R. Berry, Villa Park, Ill; three grandaughters, Mrs. Melanie Jackson, Dexter, Debbie Berry, Villa Park, Ill., Lorri Hanna, Doniphan; three sisters, Anna Cramer, Columbia, Lorraine Sterns, Sedalia and Sadie Cox, Chillicothe; He was preceded in death by one grandson, John R. Berry Jr and two brothers, Clarence and Richard Berry.
Mr. Berry retired from the Gulf, Mobil and Ohio railroad as a switchman. He was a member of the McCredie Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Jerry Weller and the Rev. Monroe Hopkins on Sunday, Sept. 16 at the Maupin Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. with burial in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held after 2 p.m. tomorrow.
Memorial contributions may be made to the McCredie Methodist Church.
