She married Walt Gehring of Bloomer, WI in 1939. They had three children:

Sandra d. 1976
Lynn 'Knute" d. 1985
Ann

Walt and Fran lived in CA in the early 1940s and again in 1957
Fran died in 1990 and Walt later remarried the former June Nelson in 1994.
