She was born Jan. 3, 1914 in Crescent City Township, the daughter of Fred Robert and Sophie Theile Hurling.
Her husband, Earl Larry Quakenbush, whom she married Sept. 28, 1934 in Crown Point, Ind., died Jan. 20, 1969.
Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, James and Mary Quakenbush of Appleton, Wis., Gene and Nancy Quakenbush of Watseka, LaMar and Diane Quakenbush of Mount Juliet, Tenn.; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and John Bolen of Morris; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, four sisters and one daughter, Barbara Ann Ahlden.
She was a member of the Milford Nazarene Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Quakenbush worked at TRW and ECC in Watseka.
