JOSEPH B. BABCOCK - Obituary
Funeral services for Joseph B. BABCOCK, who died on April 25, at Endicott, were held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles H. BAKER, in that village, at 2 o'clock, last Thursday afternoon. The Rev. L. E. SANFORD, of the First M. E. Church, Endicott, officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, in this village. The decedent had resided in Owego for many years and was well known here by the elder generation. His father, John B. G. BABCOCK, at one time a member of the Pennsylvania State Legislature, was a prominent merchant of this village and a deacon of the old Congregational Church on Park Street, in the '70s. (Hand dated 1921)
