He died Friday at the People's hospital from the effects of a heart attack. A graduate of Lamont High school in 1904, he was born at Edgewood on Nov. 16, 1886, the son of John and Josephine Hesner.
He served in the army in WWI.
On April 2, 1919 he married Myrtle Whitney and they had one son, Leonard, both of whom survive him. They made their home in Aurora until his retirement when they moved to Lamont. One Sister, Mrs. Will Rule of Lamont also survives.
