Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Shively Koones have issued cards for the wedding of Mrs. Koones' sister, Miss Nellie Theresa O'Hare, and Mr. Willard Lacy Pollard, formerly of Illinois, September 23 at the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Miss O'Hare, who is the youngest child of the late Mr. George A. O'Hare and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher S. O'Hare, old residents of Washington, has a charming contralto voice and is widely known as a singer of marked ability.
Mr. Pollard, who is a graduate of the University of Illinois, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lucilius E. Pollard.
