Deloris Faye Hawkins, 62, went home with God peacefully Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012. Graveside service: Was held Saturday in Dido Cemetery.

She loved her daughters and the Lord. She knew how to have fun and loved music. She could crochet beautiful blankets and will be dearly missed.

Survivors: Daughters, Michelle and Wendy; brother, Huitt John Laird and wife, Jennifer; sisters, Kay Kurosky and husband, Gary, and Sandra Smith; nieces, Marlie Cote, Katie Laird and Jill Reed; nephews, Scott Smith, Tommy Fleming and Jarod Smith; and aunt, Faye Watt.
