Clem Paul McWhorter, 72, died April 12, 2010 after battling cancer for 3 yrs. He grew up in Oklahoma City, attended Putnam City High School, served in the U.S. Marine Corp, worked as a skilled carpenter and a valued Real Estate realtor and broker. Clem served as a Director for both the Oklahoma Association of REALTORS and Yukon Rotary Club, receiving the OAR's 2006 Silent Angel Award. He married his high school sweetheart, Shirley Robinson, and was a genuinely devoted husband. Clem is survived by sister Shirley (Ed) Steiner; children Vickey (Brian) Banks and Stacey (Don) Paddock; grandchildren Casey and Parker Banks, Johnathon and Alex Paddock. He was preceded in death by his parents Clem and Florence Stafford McWhorter; sister Anna Christine (Rudy) Frahm; brother David Michael McWhorter; and his treasured wife, Shirley. Widely. Respected for his integrity, loyalty, hard work ethic, and willingness to help others, Clem was a man his daughters will forever be proud of having as a father. Services will be held Thursday, April 15, 2:00 p.m, in the Guardian Funeral Homes West Chapel. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 6:00 PM to 8:00 pm.
