Sarah Ann Fisher was born in Hagerstown, MD in 1833 The daughter of George Fisher and Sarah Fausnault. Her family immigrated to Illinois when she was 12 years old. She married John J. Bener, fought in the 74th Illinois during the Civil War. He died while in Parol Camp in Annapolis, MD in 1864. She married Arnold Rader, February 28, 1866 in Freeport, Ill. After his death in 1895, she moved in with her daughter Marie Kramer at Michigan City, IN. She died in 1917.
