J. N. Bryan Dies Of Heart Disease
Fort Valley Merchant Passes at Home of Nephew Here

J. N. Bryan, Fort Valley merchant, who had been ill at the home of a nephew, L. C. Bryan, 348 Amercan (sic) Boulevard avenue, Bellevue, for the past three months, died of heart trouble yesterday afternoon.

Me (sic) was removed to Fort Valley last night for burial. He was 72 years of age, having been born and reared in Fort Valley, where he operated a grocery store and shoe shop.

Mr. Bryan is survived by his widow, the former Miss Annie E. Barron, Thomaston; three sisters and one brother and the nephew. Sisters include Mrs. J. W. Burden, 133 Colquitt street, Macon; Mrs. R. E. Gassett, Griffin; Mrs. Z. T. Williams, Fort Valley; and a son, Col. Ed L. Bryan, of Tampa, Fla.

The funeral will be held in Fort Valley this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, Central time, from the Fort Valley Baptist church, and interment will be in Oak Lawn cemetery there. Rev. Z. E. Barron of the Georgia Baptist hospital, Hapeville, will conduct the funeral services.
