ODESSA J. BURTON
Mrs. Odessa J. Burton, 83, 815 West McKinsey street, died at 12:30 a.m. today in Woodland Hospital where she had been a patient two days. She had been living at the Villa de Silva Nursing Home.
Born in Randolph County Jan. 27, 1887, the daughter of Dudley and Martha Jennings Bradley, she lived her entire life in the Moberly area.
She was a member of Central Christian Church, (Disciples of Christ).
Surviving are: One son, Dudley Barton, Glendora, Calif; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Winn, Bussey, Iowa; one brother, Claude Bradley, a resident of Villa de Silva; one sister, Mrs. Louise Garber, Enid, Okla; nine grandchildren, three of whom are of Moberly, Mrs. Robert Smith, Donald Burton and Miss Donna Burton; and nine great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Charles W. Burton and four children, Dorothy and Martha Burton, Mrs. Emma Overstreet and Don Burton, preceded her in death.
The body is at the Cater Funeral Home where visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home by the Rev. A. E. Landolt, pastor of Central Christian Church, (Disciples of Christ). Burial will be in the Huntsville Cemetery.
