Virden - Miss Retta Burris, 83, a resident of Virden for the past four years, died Sunday at the Miller Nursing Home following a long illness. Funeral services at the Berry Funeral Home and burial in Old Cumberland Cemetery.
Miss Burris was a member of the Old Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Royal Neighbors Lodge of Waggoner.
She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Edith Stead, and Mrs. Ethel Richards, both of Virden, and Mrs. Lela Williamson, Tuscon, Ariz.; a brother, George, of Seattle, Wash.
