James Henry Carroll Sr., 70 passed away on August 31, 2012 at the Barnwell County Hospital.Henry was born on July 24, 1942, in Barnwell County. He was the son of the late Willie and Mary Padgett Carroll. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Linda Carson Carroll. He was the owner of Carroll's Welding and had retired from Savannah River Plant-DuPont and Fluro- Daniels Construction. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He loved fishing and the outdoors. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. Henry will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Monday in the Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. John Nixon, Rev. Marshall Still and Rev. Farrell Ray officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnwell Co. Memorial Cemetery at the airport. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Sunday evening at Mole Funeral Home, Barnwell SC. Survivors include his sons, James H. (Carol) Carroll of Barnwell, Todd (Lynnette) Carroll of Green Pond SC.; brother, William "Lucky" (Barbara Zohn) Carroll of Olar SC; sisters, Iris (Norman) Austin of Moncks Corner SC, Alice (Randy) Gill of Barnwell and Janice C. Hartzog of Olar SC; grandchildren, Shane Carroll and his friend Laurie Ellen Urtiaga , Michael Carroll and his friend Keri Bontrager , Thomas Still and Taylor Still and his friend Nicole Still; great grandchild , Rayelyn Still.
