She was a member of the Severns Valley Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, a retired beautician and an avid volunteer in the community including hairdressing services for the elderly at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Earl F. Middleton; and a daughter, Donna Mae Middleton.
She is survived by a son, Don (Adrainne) Middleton of Boulder, Colo.; two grandsons, Wesley and Russell Middleton; and a sister, Dorothy (Bud) Daugherty of Elizabethtown.
The funeral is at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Dr. Ray Hicks officiating. Burial follows in Red Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
