A native of Rutherford County, she was born on Aug. 8, 1932, a daughter of the late Theron and Viola Harris Jones. She was retired from Cone Mills Corporation. She was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. She was a loving, caring person who always put others first.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Shuford Crawley; and one brother, Dan Jones.
She is survived by her sons, Randy Crawley and wife, Betty, of Ellenboro and Myron Crawley, of Mooresboro; one daughter, Angela Head and husband, Doug, of Rutherfordton; one sister, Daphine Greene, of Mooresboro; and two grandchildren, Matthew and Maria Head.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, at Holly Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Wade Huntley officiating.
Burial will follow at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
