Kimberley Burdorf passed August 23, 2012 after a long battle with cancer surrounded by her family in Patchogue, NY.
Kim was born in Glen Ridge, raised in Cedar Knolls, and most recently a 23 year resident of Denville. Kim opened her home to the children of Denville through her home Day Care and became another Mother to many a child in town. An avid school volunteer as chaperone and fundraiser, a hockey Mom to the core, and loved by everyone she touched as she often put the needs of others in front of even her own.
Kimberley was predeceased by her mother Glenn Christine Nolan.
Kimberley is survived by her husband Kevin Burdorf, her children Rebecca Gatto, Tyler Burdorf, Amanda Burdorf, her father David A. Nolan, and her sisters Kelly Nolan, Colleen Nolan and Erin Ward and many nieces and nephews.
Kimberley's funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ, www.normandean.com, on Tuesday August 28th at 8:30am for a 10am Mass of Christian Burial service at St. Mary's Church Denville, NJ, committal and interment service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Monday August 27th at the funeral home from 1-4 and 7-9pm.
