He'd recently retired from being a Truck Driver. He was a member of Davis Chapel CME Church in Arabi, Georgia where he served on the Usher Board.
He was married to Shirley Brown Harvey. He was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Kristie L. Harvey and 1 son, Kentavius T. Harvey.
