John M. "Jack" Dunham, 82, of Kittanning, died Tuesday, February 6, 2008, in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.

He was born October 14, 1925, in Brookville to the late Emmett M. and Lucy Mortimer Dunham and also was preceded in death by sisters Lillian Simpson and Gladys L. Haggerty and brothers William B. and Frank M. Dunham.

Jack was a retired foreman for Eljer Mfg., Ford City; the former owner of Dunham Transportation, Kittanning; a WW II Navy Seabees veteran, and of the Protestant faith.

He was a lifetime member of the former Kittanning VFW, where he was a past commander for six years, and a member of the Cowansville and Worthington American Legions, the Junior Order of the United American Mechanics, and Chapter 2 Tri-State Country Music Association.

Husband of 11 years of Clara B. (Kammerdiener) Troup Dunham, whom he married December 6, 1996. Father. Stepfather, Grandfather, Step-grandfather of 6. Step-great-grandfather of 5. Brother.

Burial will be in Kittanning Cemetery.
