He was one of my favorite Uncles he loved to razz me he called me pencil neck.
He loved to party, was a creative craftsman always doing some kind of wood work project like making wooden toys such as tractors or cars for the children in his family.
He married the Love of his life Linda Rhea Davis to whom he was married to until his death, they had four children Emmett (Little Emmett) Jr, Michelle (Little Michelle}, Dennis, Wendy Davis Palmer.
He and Linda's children also bore them many grand and great grand children.
Emmett was loved by all who ever met him., Though at times he could be stubborn and make you mad, he had his redeeming values but he wasn't perfect.
He loved to move around which he and his wife did several times in their life starting in Salt Lake City, then Sunset Valley Idaho, then Malad Idaho, finally settling in Montello Nevada.
He was quite the handyman he bought him and Linda a manufactured home shell when they moved to Montello and turned it into a roomy site built house in no time.
He was a very frugal person always knew how to make the most of the least.
He served as the fire chief in Montello from the early to late 1990's.
We love you forever and will miss you my Uncle Emmett.
