Survived by his wife Maxine (nee Smith); one son, Christopher Sherman Cox and his wife Laurie of Venice Beach, CA; one daughter Juliet Cox of Kansas City, MO; two brothers, Dr. William Neal Cox and his wife Patricia of Lee's Summit, MO and Ted Cox and his wife Ida of Overland Park, KS; one sister, Lois Gadd and her husband Erwin of Lebanon, MO; twin grandchildren, Carson Sherman Cox and Abigail Juliet Cox; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Rev. William Oscar and Nellie Rogers Cox of Lebanon, MO. and brother Rev. Don Cox. Mr. Cox practiced law in the St. Louis area for 40 years. He was a member of West County Assembly God.
