Barry Parks, 59, of Jackson, passed from this life Thursday, August 30, 2012, at his home.
He was born March 17, 1953, at Ray, the son of Charles Parks and Randall and Mae Warrens,
He was the owner of Parks Equipment and was well known for his many years of sales and service of farm and industrial equipment. He was a long-time member of the Jackson County Fair Board and the Farmers Sportsman. Barry attended the Promiseland Church.
Barry was preceded in death by his fathers, Charles Parks and Randall Warrens.
Barry is survived by his loving wife, Anne, his children, Robin (Max) Hanning of Waverly, Brandy (Walt) Fruth of Ray, Jessica (Mike) Collins of Jackson, and Jeremy Lambert of Jackson, his mother, Mae Warrens of Ray, and sister, Debbie (Robert) McCoy of Ray. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Max and Connor Hanning, Rylee, Ryan and Dylan "Chico" Zinn, and Devon, Eli and Nikki Collins, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and a multitude of friends including Dave Fisher.
A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Monday at Promiseland Church on Pattonsville Road, with Pastor Roger Parks officiating. Evergreen Cemetery will serve as a final resting place.
Family and friends will gather from 12 to 8 P.M. Sunday at the at the church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Huntley & Cremeens Funeral Home of Wellston.
