COFFEY - A good man went to his reward when Mr. J. Marsh Coffey breathed his last at his home near Perryville Sunday night. He lived in this county for many years and was one of its very best citizens. He moved with his family to the Perryville section about a year ago and was held in the same high esteem there. Mr. Coffey was born in Wayne county and was the son of Mr. J. Cole Coffey, one of that county's most substantial men. He is survived by his wife, who was a daughter of the late Al Jones, and nine children, all of whom have the unbounded sympathy of their many friends in this and other counties. The burial will take place in Buffalo cemetery here this, Tuesday morning, after services at the grave by Eld. J. G. Livingston at 11:30 o'clock.
