FLOYD F. SMITH

Floyd F. Smith, 63, of 73 Fair Street, a lifelong Deposit area resident died on April 14 at 49 Fourth Street, the home of his daughter, Rozella Smith. He was born in Starrucca, PA, a son of Charles and Flossie (Tuttle) Smith.

He worked most of his life as a stonecutter. His wife, Marian G. (Moore) Smith, predeceased him on April 11, 1986. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in WWII.

He leaves two daughters and three sons: Rozella Smith, Deposit, Yvonne Decker, Little Falls, Earl and Rodney Smith of Deposit and Glen Ketchum, San Antonio, TX; five brothers - Ted Smith, Hale Eddy, Carl Smith, North Sanford, Barney Smith, Sands Creek, Wallace Smith, Deposit and Charles Smith, Sidney; five sisters - Dora Moore, Mt. Upton, Juanita Judd, Afton, Jenny Price and Eva DeVoe, Hurleyville and Margaret Mudge, Greene; nine grandchildren and a special friend, Jean Faling, Deposit.

Burial was in Anthony Cemetery in North Sanford.
