Elizabeth Ann Aronson, 68, of Lebanon, widow of Carl "Eddie" Aronson, passed away in Hartford Hospital Thursday, (September 20, 2001).

Born in Hartford, she graduated from Hartford Public High School. She worked for many years for the State of CT, retiring from the Dept. of Treasury, Student Loan Foundation.

She was an avid reader who also loved to knit and crochet for family and friends. She was devoted to her family and particularly enjoyed the company of her grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, Maurice Martin Sr.; her son, Gregory Martin Aronson; two brothers, Maurice Martin, Jr. and Robert Martin. She is survived by her mother, Rose Martin of FL; a brother, Donald Martin of FL; her daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Paul Pomprowicz of Hebron; grandchildren, Brooke and Michael Manning of Lebanon, Cortney Robinson of Manchester, Lisa Pomprowicz of Manhattan, NY, Michael Pomprowicz of Hebron; and a very special great granddaughter, Haley Elizabeth Manning of Lebanon.

There will be no calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department for their dedication in assisting their neighbors.
