Henry J. Beckman, 78, of Florence died at ECM Hospital Saturday after being ill for two and one-half months. He was a native of Nashville, Tn. but had lived here most of his life. Mr. Beckman was a retired electrician, member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society, and IBEW 558, Sheffield.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Catherine M. Beckman; a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Leckenby, Florence; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Greer of Lawrenceburg; Mrs. Dena Kehn of Memphis and Mrs. Minnie Moody of Salt Lake City, Utah; a brother John J. of Florence and six grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery. Bearers will be Dr. Paul H. Beckman, Paul H. Joly, James I Kobeck, Leo F. Gusmus, Frank L. Lamprecht and Stephen H. Leckenby.
