Mr. Bozeman was born April 8, 1934, in Cochran, GA to the late Henry Cecil and Willie Belle Mullis Bozeman. He retired from the US Army National Guard ranking Sgt. Major and from the University of Georgia Experiment Station on June 30, 1988, from the Crop and Soil Sciences Department as an agricultural research assistant. He was a member of Highland United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wives, Norma Dale Allen Bozeman and Brenda Bass Campbell Bozeman as well as a brother Wendell Bozeman.
Survivors include two sons, Craig Bozeman and wife Darlene and Steve Bozeman and wife Jeri all of Griffin; daughter, Lindy Dinkins and husband Mike of Griffin; one brother and a sister, Perry Bozeman and wife Shirley Raye of Griffin and Peggy Presley and husband Ronnie of Bryson City, NC. Other survivors include grandchildren, Brian Bozeman and wife Maria, Corey Dinkins, Jenny Nance, Kasey Bozeman and Aimee Bozeman as well as great grandchildren, Josie, Carden and Adelise Bozeman.
Funeral services for Mr. Ralph Troy "Pop" Bozeman will be conducted on Monday August 27, 2012, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Jason Forster will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens with full military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 PM until the service hour.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to Highland United Methodist Church, 2009 Old Atlanta Road, Griffin, GA 30223 in memory of Mr. Bozeman.
