Royce Bretton Adkison passed away Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at his home in Rendon. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.

Royce was born in Hico on Sept. 29, 1943. He retired from General Motors of Arlington after 31 years of service. He was a faithful and loving member of Tabernacle Baptist Church of Rendon. He was raised and lived in Hico until 1965 when he moved to Rendon. He was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Ila Adkison; and wife, Erjuana Adkison. He was greatly admired and loved by all.

Survivors: Son, Charles Adkison; stepdaughter, Elayne Keith; daughter-in-law, Pamela Adkison; and many cousins and family-in-law members.
