Funeral services for James D. (Sid) Barefoot, age 69 who passed away January 9 will be held Wednesday at 3:00 at the Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Jackie Hinson & Rev. Nathan Barrington will officiate. Burial will be in the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday anytime after 3:00 pm at the residence at 1046 JC Barefoot Road, Patrick. Mr. Barefoot was born in Hartsville a son of J.C. & Martha Jane Jordan Barefoot. He was a member of the Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are three sisters, Eleanor Gainey, Alicia Ann Perdue & Teresa Brigman, all of Patrick; two brothers, George W. Barefoot & William Glen Barefoot, both of Hartsville. He was preceded in death by a sister Lois Gainey. www.nortonfh.net
