Services for Glen Keith Clem. ents and his son, Philip, were conducted in the Hammon School auditorium Saturday, March 16.

Officiating ministers were George S. Wilkins, Hammon, and Albert C. Trent, Hale Center, Texas.

The music was arranged by Bill Trent, Hammon.

Burial was in Red Hill ceme-tery, with Martin-Hullum Funeral Home Elk City, directing the arrangements.

Casket bearers were L. E. Dick, Wayne Vignal, Franklin D. Bailey, George Bottom, Ray Clark, Bill Miller; Bill Trent, Ernest L. Sanderson, Jack Warner, Leo Jones.

Honorary bearers were Earl Brown, Ocie Bailey, Charlie Campbell, Wes Harden, Cecil Clay, W. A. Lewter, Emerson Goodwin, H. T. Johnson, Bob Allee, Carroll Eggers.

Glen Keith Clements was born March 23, 1929 at Hammon and departed this life March 13, 1957
at the age of 27 years 11 months and 20 days.

Keith had resided in Hammon all his life, having finished high school here, and had been associated in business with his father. His cheerful disposition and fair dealing endeared him with all whom he came in contact.

On October 10, 1948 he was united in marriage to Emma Jean Foster at Wheeler, Texas. He was baptized in 1954. He preached for the Church of Christ and had been serving the church at Canute, Reydon, Oceola, Butler, Leedey, Hammon, and Burns Flat.

Survivors include his wife, Emma Jean, and little daughter, Glenda, of the home address; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Clements, and a brother, Gene, all of Hammon; other relatives and his many friends.

Keith's little son, Philip, whose life was claimed by the same accident, was born September 8, 1954 at Hammon. Besides his mother, Mrs. Keith Clements, and sister, Glenda, he is survived by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Clements, Hammon; his maternal grandpar-ents; Mr. and Mrs. Logan Foster, Moorewood; four great grand-mothers, Mrs. Ethel Clements, Mrs. George Cozert, both of Hammon; Mrs. Minnie Foster, Hennepin, Okla, and Mrs. L. C. Hunt, Elk City, and one great-grandfather, L. C. Hunt, Elk
City.

Services for Keith, Phillip(sic) Clements
Are Held At Hammon On Saturday


Double funeral services for Glen Keith Clements, 27-year-old Hammon service station operator, and his 2 1-2 year-oldson,(sic) Phillip,(sic) were held at 3 p. m. Saturday in the Hammon school auditorium with Ministers George Wilkins, Hammon, and Albert Trent, Hale Center, Tex., officiating.

Both were victims of a tractor accident Wednesday afternoon some 1 1-2 miles southwest of Hammon.

Trooper Joe Burns who investigated the accident, said the fatal mishap occurred around 2 p. m. on a country road while Mr. Clements was roading a farm tractor from his farm southwest of Hammon. Burns' report stated that the tractor was traveling east with Mr. Clements, the son Phillip, and 5-year-old daughter, Glenda, all riding it.

The trooper said apparently the tractor overturned after Mr. Clements lost control on a small bridge. The tractor pinned both Mr Clements and his son Phillip and both were crushed. The daughter was thrown clear and was not injured

Mr. Clements was married to Emma Jean Foster in Wheeler, Tex.. Oct. 10, 1948 and had resided in the Hammon community all of his life. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Mr. Clements' survivors include his wife, Emma Jean, and daughter, Glenda, of the home: his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Clements, and a brother, Gene, all of Hammon.

Young Phillip is survived by his mother and sister; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Clements, Hammon, and Mr. and Mrs. Logan Foster, Moorewood; four great grandmothers, Mrs. Ethel Clements and Mrs. George Cozart, Hammon: Mrs. Minnie Foster, Hennepin, and Mrs. L. C. Hunt, Elk City; and a great grandfather, L. C. Hunt, Elk City.

Burial was in the Red Hill cemetery at Hammon with Martin-Bullum funeral home directing arrangements.
