Word was received from Wichita this morning of the death of Mrs. Jessie Sohns McCarty, 59, a former resident of Junction City, and a sister of O.A. Sohns.
Mrs. McCarty was born in Junction City March 31, 1894 and was the widow of James C. McCarty who died in 1944.
Surviving relatives include the son, M.J. McCarty of Wichita; a daughter, Mrs. Bernice LaCoe of Salina, Calif.; a brother, O.H Sohns of Junction City.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday with graveside services in Highland cemetery.
