James R. Lashbrook Dies
Pronounced Dead on Arrival at Mt. Carmel yesterday.
James Russel Lashbrook, 71, 226 East Eleventh, was pronounced dead on arrival at 4:40 p.m. Wednesday. He had been in ill health several years.
Mr. Lashbrook was born May 29, 1893, at Kansas City. He had lived in Pittsburg since 1929 and was employed by the McNally Pittsburg Manufacturing Company before his retirement in 1952. He was married June 30, 1952 in Girard. He was a World War I veteran.
He held membership in a Methodist church in Kansas City.
Surviving are the widow, two daughters, Linda Kay Lashbrook and Lillie Mae Lashbrook and three sons, David Lee Lashbrook, Billy Gene Lashbrook and James Russel Lashbrook, Jr., all of the home and a brother, Carl Lashbrook, Kansas City.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in the Smith chapel with Rev. N. Gayle Fischer in charge. Burial will be in Mt. Olive cemetery.
