Mrs. Hattie A. Anthony, 83, of 46 Depot St., died Wednesday evening at the home of a cousin, Mrs. Ernest Rosser, of 140½ W. Union St. She had been ill for a week.
A lifelong resident of Athens County. Mrs. Anthony was the daughter of the late Isaac and Minerva Jane Nice. Her husband, Frank Anthony, died in 1939.
Surviving are a niece, Mrs. Bruce Rosier of Bremen, and a nephew, Harold Nice of Cleveland.
Services will be conducted Friday, 2 p.m. by Dr. John M. Versteeg at the Dowler-Ferguson-Hughes funeral home, where friends may call at anytime. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
