Ervin Albert Behnke, 79, of 502 Lake Dr., Brillion, died unexpectedly Monday, Oct. 17, 1988, at Calumet Medical Center, Chilton.
He was born May 5, 1909, in Little River to the late Charles and Bertha (Siefeldt) Behnke. He married Blanch Krueger on Nov. 14, 1942. He was employed at Brillion Iron Works for 35 years until his retirement in 1971. He was a member of Peace United Church of Christ, Brillion.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Harland and Lillian Kachenbeckie, Brillion; three sisters, Ida Sterzing, Marinette; Theresa Colette, Lake Land, FL; and Elsie Dassow, Sheboygan Falls; three sisters-in-law, Ruth Behnke, Manitowoc, Augusta Behnke, Marinette; and Ester Behnke, Sylman, CA; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Lena Behnke, Lena; and Walter and Mildred Behnke, Niagra; one brother-in-law, Thomas Vodicha, Lake Land, FL; and one grandson, Todd.
Preceding him in death was his wife on Nov. 19, 1984; one sister and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held at Peace United Church of Christ in Brillion, the Rev. Joseph Mills officiating. Burial will be in the Brillion Community Cemetery.
