William Harvey "Frog" Sharp, age 79, of Lake City, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2012. He was born on August 9, 1933 in Anderson County to the late William Gordon and Sarah Ledford Sharp. William was a maintenance technician for the Campbell Soup Company and retired with 32 and a half years of work service. He was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church, and enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, William is preceded in death by his sisters: Vivian Harmon and Barbara Brown.

Survivors Wife of 55 Years Violet Riggs Sharp Lake City Son Tony Sharp and Lana Townsend Daughter Debra Brummett and Robert Lake City Grand Children Dominic Sharp Nichole Ludwig Several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City. Funeral Service: 7:00 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. A.L. Turpin officiating. Mr. Sharp's wishes were to be cremated after his services.
