Swayzee– Lois Gosnell, 90, died Wednesday, August 29, 2012, in Wesleyan Healthcare, Marion. She was born in Allen County, Kentucky on July 20, 1922 to the late Everet Hurston and Bertha (Smalling) Binnion. Lois married William Sanford Gosnell on November 22, 1940 and he preceded her in death on June 4, 1989. Lois retired from Wesleyan Healthcare, where she worked as a dietary aide. She was a member of Sims Wesleyan Church and enjoyed baking cakes and sewing.

Survivors include her sons, Garry (Mollie) Gosnell, Sr., Swayzee, Morris 'Chip' Gosnell, Swayzee; daughter, Sandra (Gary) Buckler, Converse; sisters, Mildred Gosnell, Fairmount, Lillian (Bob) Pearson, Marion; grandchildren, Garry (Gina) Gosnell, Jr., Swayzee, Jeff (Janice) Gosnell, Swayzee, Stacey (Kathy) Gosnell, Fowler, Anita Goodman, Swayzee, Todd (Pam Kooi) Goodman, Bloomington, IL, Preston (Amber) Fritch, Zanesville, Michele (Nick) Hampton, Sheridan; step grandchildren, Tony (Deanna) Fritch, Montpelier, VA, Brad (Tonya) Buckler, Marion, Vanessa (Bryan) Hadley, Indianapolis, and John Buckler, Marion; 16 great-grandchildren; 18 step grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everet H. and Bertha Binnion; husband, William Sanford Gosnell; brother, Jack Binnion; sister, Gertie Garmon; brother, Homer Binnion; and sons, Larry Gosnell and Randy Gosnell.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Friday, August 31, 2012 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Rybolt Chapel, 314 N. Washington Street, Swayzee, Indiana.

Funeral Service will be at 11 am on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Rybolt Chapel, 314 N. Washington Street, Swayzee, Indiana with Reverend Brian Williams officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sims Wesleyan Church, 309 N. Main Street, Sims, IN 46986 or to Cancer Services of Grant County, Inc., Tower Suites, 305 S. Norton Avenue, Marion, IN 46952.
