ROBERT HANLIN
Robert Fletcher Hanlin, son of Moses and Margaret (Irvin) Hanlin, was born in Gallia county, Ohio, November 19, 1873, and died May 31, 1947 at Beatrice hospital, aged 68 years.

He came to Nebraska in 1900, and for a short time engaged in farming.

On August 26, 1903, he was united in marriage to Mable V. Williams at Geneva where he operated a cafe until moving to Beatrice in 1923.

Funeral services were held at Harman Mortuary with Rev. Wayne Greene in charge.

Although he had been in ill health for several years, he maintained a cheerful disposition and was happiest when visiting with his many friends and relatives.

Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Kathleen of Los Angeles; four grandsons, Joe and Jack Collins of Gillette, Wyo., Jody and Denny McDowell of Lincoln; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Weis of Weston, Wyo., and Cora Parker of Parkersburg, W. Va., a number of nephews and nieces, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by two children: Robert Allen, who died in infancy, Lena Bernadine, who died at the age of 23; his parents, three brothers, and one sister.
