Albert Caster Rites
Slated Friday
Services for Albert Caster, 70-year-old Hammon area farmer, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday from the Church of Christ in Hammon with Bill Trent and Bert Robertson officiating.
Born April 7, 1891, in Alvarado, Tex., Mr. Caster died in a car-train accident near Hammon Tuesday, Sept 19.
Married to Leah Ward in Blair on Aug. 15, 1909, Mr. Caster had lived on his present farm northwest of Hammon since 1911, excepting for three years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Leah Caster, of the home; two sons, Troy A. Caster and M. C. Caster both of El Reno; four daughters, Mrs. Opal Gray, El Reno; Mrs. Jewel B. Morrow, Albuquerque, N.M.; Mrs. Doris Morton, Hammon; and Mrs. Theola Canterberry, Raytown, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. T. C. Whitworth, Elk City; one brother, Robert Caster, Pomona, Calif.; 19 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Red Hill cemetery, Hammon, under direction of Martin funeral home.

Albert Caster
Albert Caster was born at Alvarado, Texas, April 7, 1891, one of five children of F. L. And Sarah E. Caster, and departed this life September 19, 1961. They came to Oklahoma in 1900, homesteading at the present home. They moved to Blair, Okla., in 1908.
He married Leah Ward at Blair August 15, 1909, and they moved to Hammon in 1911. To this union were born seven children. One son, Rodney, preceded him in death August 25, 1935.
Those surviving him are his wife, Leah, home address; two sons, Troy Caster, Merrill Caster, El Reno; four daughters, Mrs. C. L. Gray, El Reno, Mrs. F. L. Morrow, Albuquerque, N.M., Mrs. O. W. Morton, Hammon, Mrs. M. W. Canterberry, Raytown, Mo.; one brother, Robert Caster, Pomona, Calif.; two sisters, Lula Withworth, Elk City, and Lillian Gwinn, Oklahoma City, and other relatives and friends.
