Heather Rae Olson, 37, of Fargo passed away on Sunday, August 12th in her home.

Heather was born on February 17th, 1975 to David and Renee Olson at St. John's Hospital in Fargo. She was transferred to the neonatal intensive care in St. Luke's. After overcoming an early delivery, Heather battled Kawasaki Syndrome at age 6. She rallied and was blessed with a healthy childhood. Heather was a loving child who kept her family smiling. She grew up in North Fargo and graduated from Fargo North High School in 1993. Heather attended MSCTC and earned her Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology. She worked as a coder before returning to college to pursue a degree in Nursing. Heather worked for many years as a CNA and had a gift for working with the elderly. She truly enjoyed connecting with them through humor and stories.

Heather was known for her love of animals. She always had pets in her life and loved them all. Her dog Baxter was a cherished part of her family.

The hi-light of Heather's life was the birth of her son, Brayden David on June 27th 2010. She took time off from school and work to be a mom to Brayden. She treasured her son and was a proud mom.

Heather is survived by her son Brayden, parents David and Renee, her grandfather Robert Billing, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Heather had a strong Christian faith. She will join her heavenly Father along with Grandma Billing, Grandma and Grandpa Olson, Aunt Vickie, Uncle Paul, Uncle Dick, Aunt Donna and Cousin Jimmy.

Funeral: Thursday, August 16, 2012, 10:30 AM at Hope Lutheran Church – South Campus, Fargo, ND.

Visitation: Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from 6:00 – 7:00 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM.

Burial: Standing Rock Cemetery near Fort Ransom, ND
