Dana Marie Woods, 18, of Alvin, SC, a delivery driver for Papa John's Pizza and a student at Trident Technical College, died Monday in Berkeley County.
Her funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday afternoon, September 1, 2012, in the CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, 684 Broughton Rd., Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday evening.
Dana was born June 23, 1994, in New Bern, NC, a daughter of Danny R. Woods and Jennifer Holcomb Hill. She was a graduate of the SC Virtual Charter School and was attending Trident Technical College having intentions of becoming a paralegal. Dana attended the Answer Place Church and was a member of the Paralegal Club at Trident Tech. In her spare time, she enjoyed fixing up her car, learning to cook, and playing video games.
Surviving are, her mother and step father, Leonard W. "Len" Hill, Jr., of Alvin; her father and step mother, Rhonda, of Havelock, NC; two sisters, Katie E. Woods of Bonneau Beach and Melody J. Woods of Havelock, NC; a brother, Brandon L. Hill of Alvin; her grandparents, Mary and Kevin Holcomb of Pinopolis, Carl and Jerlene Woods of Goose Creek, Leonard and Shirley Hill of Moncks Corner, and Cheryl Platt of Goose Creek; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
